Life Support Training Institute (LSTI) provides emergency medical education to health care providers, the general public, EMS organizations, municipal fire departments, public safety departments and police departments throughout Southeastern Michigan. We are committed to providing our community with the best emergency education and training services possible.
On any given EMS run, the difference between proper training and poor training could result in saving a life. Our mission is to provide pre-hospital providers with the training and skills they need to succeed under any circumstances or conditions. When it comes to EMS service, there is no margin for error.
Life Support Training Institute was established in 1986 to meet the growing need for well-trained emergency medical service professionals. In 1992, LSTI was named a Community Training Center for the American Heart Association. Today, LSTI offers classes for professionals including EMT training and certifications, AHA programs, community classes for adults and special community awareness programs.
