EMS Training Courses

Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics are often the first trained people to respond to emergencies and provide treatment and transport for the sick and injured. They play a crucial role in public safety. Many EMTs find a career in emergency medical service to be very exciting and rewarding.

The LSTI Advantage

LSTI is the smart choice for such education because we partner with some of the largest EMS providers and hospitals around the area. These partnerships bring valuable insight, resources and real life training that can only come from real-world experience.

Whether you are beginning your career as a Basic-EMT, enhancing your career to the Paramedic level, or even training to become an Instructor, the classes offered at LSTI are designed to help you achieve your goals. LSTI does not offer Advanced Placement credit. Course applications are submitted to MDHHS for approval.

The LSTI EMT-Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the EMS Professions (CoAEMSP).
