Course Description:

The Heartsaver First Aid course is designed for individuals who may need to respond to a first-aid emergency. The course teaches participants how to handle injuries and manage illness in the critical first few minutes before medical help arrives.

All AHA Heartsaver courses are in compliance with the criteria for Departmental approval. Public Act 116, Rule 1851 mandates with the Michigan Department of Human Services for all child care centers, group child care homes and family childcare home providers. They are also in full compliance with the Revised School Code officially passed June 10, 2003, now entitle Section 1531d with the State of Michigan Dept. of Education.
