Life Support Training Institute (LSTI), a division of Community EMS, is a full service EMS education provider. We offer both initial and continuing education. With ownership by Community EMS, and partnership with the Botsford Health Care Continuum, you will receive job relevant training by EMS professionals working in the field.

Proper education and training for the pre-hospital providers affects each and every one of us who may need emergency medical service. Whether you are an emergency professional, a healthcare provider or a safety-minded citizen, having the proper training and skills could help people or even save lives someday. LSTI is committed to providing our community with the best emergency education and training services possible.

Our History

In 1986, the Life Support Training Institute was established to meet the growing need for well-trained emergency medical service professionals. In 1992, LSTI was named a Community Training Center for the American Heart Association. Today, LSTI offers classes for professionals, community classes for adults and special programs just for kids.
